We are taking all general treatment appointments now.
It’s official, we’ve moved to Level 1
The National Cabinet approved the move to Level 1 restrictions which allow most dental procedures including scaling and cleaning. This is a great relief for patients awaiting their dental treatment.
The easing of restrictions is a consequence of an assessment of risk by the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) and the National Cabinet using the framework the ADA put forward initially to the AHPPC, and after consultation with the ADA over the last few days. Both the National Cabinet and AHPPC are regularly reviewing the community context and will scale restrictions with respect to transmission risk and the needs of the broader community.
We are committed to your safety and will continue with our standard protocols with regards to infection control but we also have in place additional measures and a response plan and policy as issued from the Australian Dental Association.
In order to ensure this we are asking all our valued patients,
If they have returned from overseas or interstate trip in the last 14 days
If they have fever, sore throat or a cough
For social distancing rule, only the patient can enter treatment room and we kindly ask everyone other than patient to wait outside the building to minimise crossing over.
